To me this is a very important qualifier question, because it simply goes against my instinct to dive into such a critical task without, at the very least, someone who KNOWS the task and truly understands what they are doing helping/supervising/guiding. There are so many little things that do not get included in a procedural checklist that one needs to know, and the FSM, if anything, is often times scant on elaboration and clarity. (Granted I have not read through the section concerning engine reassembly, so perhaps that section is where the FSM really shines for all I know.) For example I didnt know anti-freeze made fuel injection hoses brittle, so I went about thinking I was beefing up durability for some hard to reach coolant lines by using fuel injection hose, when it turns out I did the exact opposite, and it could have ruined a motor. I was lucky that time, but luck always runs out at one point or another.
